Andar's People is a traditional two-storey Sarajevo house – once our family home, today a warm place of welcome for travellers from all over the world.
This is the house where we grew up, surrounded by family, stories and the everyday moments that made it our home. Over time we carefully renovated it, preserving its spirit and character while giving it a new purpose – to host people who want to experience Sarajevo in a more personal and authentic way.
Every room has its own name and a character of its own. Carefully chosen details, little corners for enjoying tea and views of Sarajevo's red rooftops and the green hills around the city make every stay special.
We believe travel is not only about sightseeing and visiting new places. It is about getting to know the rhythm of a city, its people, and the feeling that you have found your own little corner of home, even when you are far from your own.

Authentic Bosnian coffee in the very heart of the old bazaar.
Maida also runs Caffe Bar Andar at Sarači 22, right in the heart of Baščaršija. Set in a former shoemaker's workshop, it is full of little reminders of the old craft — just like the shoe-named rooms at the guest house. Sit down for traditional dibek coffee served in a džezva, a piece of baklava and a homemade juice, and watch the old town go by.

Our newest and most spacious space, designed for those who like a little more comfort and a feeling of home, even when far from it. A comfortable king-size bed with a lavish green velvet headboard, a separate living room with a sofa and a fully equipped tea kitchen provide everything you need for a pleasant stay.
The apartment's special charm is its own terrace overlooking the garden – a small green corner where you can enjoy a morning coffee or quiet evenings.
An ideal choice for longer stays, slower mornings and anyone who wants to experience Sarajevo while feeling at home.

Pehlivanuša 48, 71000 Sarajevo, on a quiet hillside above Baščaršija – about 10 minutes' walk downhill to the Old Town. The house is on a slope, so expect a short climb and some steps on the way back.
Check-in is from 3:00 to 6:00 PM and check-out from 8:00 to 11:00 AM. Check-in and check-out are private; please send us your arrival time in advance via messages on the platform you booked on.
Each room has a queen bed, its own private bathroom, air-conditioning, a work desk, TV and a tea & coffee corner. Our newest space, Marshall, has a king-size bed, a separate living room, a fully equipped tea kitchen and its own terrace overlooking the garden.
